The Harbin Ice and Snow Festival is an annual winter festival that takes place in northeast China, near the Russian border. It is the world’s largest ice and snow festival that runs from December to February every year. After talking about going to Harbin for many years, my mom and I decided to pack our very thick sweaters and jackets and headed to the coldest city in China to see it in person. And my, what an amazing sight to see! The festival was bigger than I had imagined, and I could not get over all the amazing structures that were built to create this ice city. Check it out!
